Packing Favorites

TravelWise Packing Cubes

I’ve used these packing cubes for years and love how easy they make it to organize my suitcase. I especially like being able to combine outfits so I don’t have to dig through everything to find what what I need.

Backpack

This backpack is one of my favorite travel finds. It counts as an airline personal item and fits underneath the seat in front of me, but it also has wheels and aa telescopic handle. My favorite feature is the back strap that slips right over the handle of my larger suitcase, making it so easy to maneuver through the airport.

Weekender Bag

I’ve used this weekender for years as my airline personal item. It fits easily under the seat while still holding everything I want within reach during a flight. I love the pockets for keeping things organized, the separate zippered shoe compartment, and the back strap that slips over my suitcase handle. Once I arrive, it does double duty as my beach or pool bag.

Trolley Strap

I use this trolley strap to turn almost any weekender or laptop bag into one that easily attaches to my rolling suitcase. Two adjustable straps with strong magnets hold the bag securely in place, so I’m not constantly trying to keep it from sliding off my luggage. Such a simple little travel accessory, and one of my favorite new finds!

Toiletry Bag

This four compartment toiletry bag has traveled with me on literally dozens of trips. I love how it keeps all of my travel size toiletries in one place, then zips up compactly to fit easily in my weekender or carry on. Simple, organized, and incredibly practical.

Safety Favorites

Crossbody Waterfly Day Bag

This is one of my favorite bags for a full day of exploring. It keeps my essentials secure but still easy to reach, can be worn on the front of my body when I want a little extra security, and even has a pocket that fits my water bottle or travel umbrella. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and just the right size for everything I need without carrying a full backpack.

Crossbody Security Pouch

This small slash resistant cross body pouch keeps my passport, phone, and credit cards close to my body and easy to access. Locking zippers add extra protection from pickpockets, making it one of my go-to options when I want to travel light. I also use it for sporting events when I only need the essentials.

Crossbody Security Purse

This crossbody security purse has become a traveler favorite! It’s roomy enough for everything I need for a day of sightseeing without feeling bulky, and the built-in security features give me extra peace of mind in crowded areas. The adjustable strap makes it comfortable to wear all day, with plenty of pockets to keep everything organized and easy to reach.

RFID Blocking Sleeves

I slip my passport and credit cards into these RFID blocking sleeves when I travel. They add an extra layer of protection against unauthorized RFID scanning without adding the bulk of a special wallet. Simple, lightweight, and easy to use.

Phone Tether

I clip this phone tether to my clothing or day bag for an extra layer of security while traveling. It keeps my phone attached to me while I’m taking photo, navigating busy areas, or leaning over the railing of a cruise ship – helping protect against drops, loss, or a quick grab.

Clothing Favorites

Rain Jacket

This lightweight rain jacket takes up almost no room in my luggage and is easy to keep with me while exploring. It folds small enough to fit right inside by crossbody day bag, so I can have it handy whenever the weather changes.

Scarf

I always travel with a lightweight scarf because it’s one of the most versatile things I pack. I can use it to cover my shoulders when visiting churches, add a little warmth on a cool evening, or simply dress up an outfit. It takes up almost no room in my bag, so it’s an easy one to bring along.

Tech Favorites

3-1 Apple Travel Charger

Outlet space is precious when I travel! I love that this charger uses just one outlet but charges my iPhone, Apple Watch, and iPad all at the same time. One charger also means fewer cords and adapters to pack.

Bluetooth Headphone Adapter

This little adapter it a hands free game changer. I can use my own comfortable Bluetooth earbuds to watch movies on long flights instead of relying on airline headphones. It also works with Whisper devices often used on locally guided tours, so I can listen through my own earbuds there too.

European Travel Adapter

A travel adapter is a must for keeping my devices charged while traveling in Europe. This one is a favorite because it plugs into a standard European outlet and gives me a regular U.S. outlet plus two USB ports, allowing me to charge several devies from one adapter. Just remember – this is a plug adapter, not a voltage converter, so anything plugged into it needs to be dual voltage.
